    Digitally visualising virtual meetings. We have been using iPads to digitally scribe events for years. We have found them a great way to draw live, plug into AV systems and wow audiences. Now, virtual meetings and video conferences are more popular than ever, and we've been working hard to integrate what we do into this thrilling new virtual space.Whatever your tech is... we can help

  • HOW IT WORKS

    We typically use Zoom but also Teams, Webex & Hangouts to live illustrate meetings. We join as a participant and apply the same deep listening and visual skills that we would if we were in the same room. We create visuals of the discussion, and because they're drawn live via screen share we can integrated real-time output into the meeting at key moments.

Virtual graphic recording - or scribing - is the creation of digital imagery to capture groups' and individuals' progress towards a goal. The method is used in various online processes such as online meetings, virtual seminars, digital workshops and streamed conferences. This visual process is conducted by a virtual graphic recording artist or virtual scribe.

Drawing the Pandemic

Between 2020 and 2022 we scribed the weekly Covid Briefings delivered by World Health Organisation envoy Sir David Nabarro. These briefings were a guiding light to a small community around the world as we saw the growth of lockdowns, the spread of COVID and finally the arrival of vaccines. Here are a small selection of images created by Live Illustration across the Pandemics first few years. Each was created live and in a Zoom feed - socially distanced of course!
