How do we quickly and clearly communicate best practice to the widest range of policy makers possible?

Childhood Obesity is a critical and long term public health problem across the globe, in countries of all income levels. It leads to long term health problems and a drag factor on health infrastructure and economies.

UNICEF has been developing policy recommendations and materials to help governments and NGO’s understand how to tackle childhood obesity.

Live Illustration worked with UNICEF to interpret their need to communicate these concepts in two languages and in a visually engaging way. These visualisations help people access the key policy points and are accessible to people with a variety of learning styles. They can be printed out and displayed or slotted into slide decks.

The images are publicly available with the policy documentation and can be found here: https://www.unicef.org/documents/advocacy-packages-food-environment-policies
